First, a little background:
I recently purchased an engagement ring through an online store, which I’ll summarize as being a not so great experience. It was a very deflating experience to spend a large sum of money on something that will be cherished forever, only to have receive it (brand new) with issues. However, I don’t want to spend much time on the negative because that would take away from what a great job was done here at Modern Jewelers.
My fiancé and I brought in the ring, which had some deep scratches on the inner part of the band (not sure how that happens on a brand new ring) and we were met by Sam, the owner of Modern Jewelers, as well as others in the store who I assume are his family. You’ll rarely meet a group of people who are as kind and positive and I can’t be more happy that we took the engagement ring here for a repair. The ring looks even better than it did when it was brand new – go figure.
My only regret is that we didn’t discover Modern Jewelers prior to purchasing the ring. Thankfully, we haven’t purchased our wedding bands yet, but now we know where to look. I’ll happily give my business to Modern Jewelers and the wonderful group of people there. Sam (and the others), thank you for a job well done!
